Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering, Purdue University My research interests are energy and environmental markets; systems and policy modeling and analysis; decentralized algorithms of game theory and their applications in smart grid; and optimization, complementarity problems, and variational inequalities, with applications to game theory and industrial organization. I started at Purdue University in August 2009 as an assistant professor, and was promoted to associate professor in August of 2016. Before coming to Purdue Industrial Engineering, I was a Senior Associate at ICF International in Fairfax, VA, from September 2005 to August 2009. I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics (2009) from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Johns Hopkins University; an MS in Mathematical Sciences (2002) from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Johns Hopkins University; and a BS in Applied Mathematics (2000) from the Department of Applied Mathematics, Beijing Institute of Technology.
