Cristián Valenzuela-Méndez is a Ph.D student in Sociology at Northwestern University. He previously completed an MA in Gender Studies at Universidad de Chile and an MSc Urban Studies at UCL, focusing his research on Sexual and Reproductive Health, LGBTQ Health and Latin American Migration. Before joining Northwestern, he worked as a researcher at the Population Council and the American Institutes for Research in Washington D.C.
