Postdoctoral research fellow, Biology, Concordia University I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Concordia University, in Montréal, Canada, generally interested in urban ecology and how biodiversity responds to human-caused environmental change. I am currently studying the role of urban forests in carbon storage and supporting bird biodiversity. Results from this work will support the development of future research priorities under the Government of Canada’ s 2 Billion Trees Program. During my PhD, I studied the mechanisms that enable wildlife to colonize and persist in cities, using synthetic analyses and field work to answer my questions.
