Senior Lecturer, School of Biological Sciences and Centre for Brain Research, University of Auckland, Waipapa Taumata Rau Jessie Jacobsen is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences and the Centre for Brain Research. She has an interest in the genetics underlying human conditions and their biological interpretation. In 2012, she returned to New Zealand from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School to help establish a genetic research programme for neurodevelopmental conditions, and subsequently co-founded the Minds for Minds research network
