Reader in Astrophysics, Liverpool John Moores University I am an observational astrophysicist. I try to understand how galaxies, and in particular our Galaxy, formed. I work by devising observations that put model predictions to test. I have extensive observational experience both individually and as part of large survey teams. I also teach Astrophysics at the undergraduate level, and advise work by graduate students and postdocs.
