Her previous research has centred around food insecurity- particularly among young people. Lara is interested in further exploring how inequality impacts access to resources and how those experiences affect quality of life. She is also interested in issues pertaining to climate change, such as the impact on already marginalized communities, key factors that contribute to social resilience, and sustainable practices that can help communities to adapt.
