Professor of History and Religion, USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Professor Rubenstein studies the cultural and intellectual history of the High Middle Ages, with emphases on the Crusades, monasticism, biblical exegesis and prophetic thought. In addition to teaching in the history department at USC, he is the director of the Center for the Premodern World.
