Senior Midwifery Lecturer, Anglia Ruskin University
Senior Midwifery Lecturer, Anglia Ruskin University Having previously worked in administrative roles, I decided to train to become a midwife after the birth of y three children, having received such exceptional care from my community midwife. I trained and worked local to my home and after working in all areas of the maternity service, was given the opportunity to work back at the university where I had trained in a skills tutor role. Following on from this, I completed my Masters studies and attained promotion to a senior lecturer post, where I continue to work today. I have a keen interest in community midwifery (including antenatal education), but also high risk postnatal care.
