Research Supervisor in English Literature, University of Cambridge I am a supervisor in English Literature at the University of Cambridge. My work is situated in the interdisciplinary field of sensory studies. My interests lie primarily in post-45 literature, but more broadly in literature 1900-present and critical theory. I am currently working to turn my PhD thesis into an academic monograph and a trade book, and I am developing a project on cultures of olfactory dysfunction, which will study the emotional, cognitive, and social effects of olfactory impairment and augmentation.
