eRAD Expands Install Base in South Africa at Netcare Pinehaven Hospital

GREENVILLE, S.C., Nov. 25, 2016 -- eRAD announced today that it has successfully deployed its Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS for Motshudi, Bergman and Ross Radiologists—an imaging practice that will serve as the in-house radiology department for Netcare Pinehaven Hospital in Johannesburg.

eRAD is a subsidiary of RadNet, Inc., and a leading provider of standards-based, web-centric radiology image and data management solutions. The sale came through eRAD’s authorized reseller in South Africa, Cryanic Medical Solutions.

Netcare Pinehaven Hospital is the newest facility built by the largest hospital group in South Africa. Motshudi, Bergman and Ross Radiologists (MBR) were awarded the tender to perform complete in-house radiology services at Pinehaven.

Through a seamless interface with the billing system, eRAD RIS promotes billing integrity. MBR can be confident because “caught” codes and other billing issues are minutely tracked and reported on in eRAD RIS.
