“American Crime Story” season 3 already scrapped a few stories including about the hurricane Katrina and the Monica Lewinsky scandal so what is next after canceling these stories? Initially, FX confirmed the Katrina concept but as everything seems to be falling into place, the network announced that it will not push through with it anymore.
The decision put the production team of “American Crime Story” season 3 back to square one. Obviously, this constant indecision is the reason why the third season of the drama is not progressing to the production state.
Deadline reported that FX actually have lots of ideas for “American Crime Story” season 3 but the problem is the management can’t come up with concrete decision thus the delay. The TV network’s CEO, John Landgraf, said: “We have three or four ideas in active development but I couldn’t tell you which one is likely to be ready first.”
The Monica Lewinsky scandal was also once thought to be the confirmed story feature for “American Crime Story” season 3 but for some reason, this was canceled. When the news was first released, it gained positive comments from the audience and critics but there are also others who believed that featuring one of the most scandalous parts of former president Bill Clinton’s life is not appropriate so in the end it was replaced by Katrina that was later scrapped too.
Now, as to what the fans can expect from “American Crime Story” season 3 following season two’s “The Assassination of Gianni Versace,” it is not clear yet. The showrunners or FX has not released any clear answers so we all just have to wait for the next update.
Meanwhile, the “American Crime Story” actor Darren Criss recently married his long-time girlfriend Mia Swier. They held the wedding on Feb. 16 in New Orleans it was a fun 4-day celebration. The actor is a Filipino-American and he honored his Filipino roots by choosing to wear the traditional Barong Tagalog made by the popular designer, Francis Libiran, Philippine Star reported.
