The rift between Ami Brown and her family is still a lingering smoke even though her estranged mother recently passed away. The “Alaskan Bush People” star is reportedly absent during the funeral but is rumored to have paid for the service anonymously, Radar Online reported.
While nothing is certain at this point, some are pointing out that Ami Brown’s health may have played a big part in her decision not to attend the funeral. It can be recalled that Ami was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer in June 2016, which later exacerbated to stage four.
Apparently, Ami Brown’s condition left her with three percent chance of survival that resulted in weight loss. The reality TV star underwent radio and chemotherapy in an attempt to eradicate the cancer cells.
However, this did come with a cost as Ami Brown supposedly lost 31 pounds during her treatment. But the star appears to be responding well to the treatment although it’s not clear whether or not her cancer cells are gone for good.
Unfortunate as Ami Brown’s circumstances might be, others aren’t buying her story. TVInsider notes that even after five years of being given only three percent chance to live, the reality TV star is still alive and kicking. What’s more, she’s still filming “Alaskan Bush People” despite her supposed ailment.
Cancer patients, especially in Ami Brown’s case, aren’t supposed to stress themselves out with work or anything of the sort. However, Ami seems spry enough to not only shoot the latest season of Discovery Channel’s reality program but she traveled to Washington in order to do so.
The tabloid explained that her physicians are in Los Angeles and it’s extremely ill-advised for Ami Brown to leave the city as she appears to not have fully eradicated the alleged cancer cells in her body. Right now, Ami seems to be doing okay along with her husband Billy.
