Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have split a few years ago but their divorce has not been finalized yet. The ex-couple is also going through child custody battle and it seems that this is their first priority since it involves the kids. Now, it was said that Brangelina’s split actually resulted to something great as the “Fury” actor got closer to his older sons – Pax and Maddox.
According to Hollywood Life, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently settled a custody agreement and based on the papers, the former will get less than 50% custody of their six children. However, despite this, Brad’s custodial time will eventually increase in the future.
In fact, the six kids - Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10 are likely to spend Christmas with their father. A source allegedly told HL, “Brad will enjoy shared time with the kids over Christmas. His new agreement with Angelina allows for them to split time with the kids over the coming holidays and they will all be spending time in L.A., close to each other.”
Moreover, although Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce has been messy, it was claimed that the oldest two sons – Pax and Maddox’s relationship with their dad have actually improved a lot.
“Brad’s relationship with the two older boys has improved significantly since the split. While things are not perfect, they are all getting along well and the boys and Brad are in a good place.”
It can be recalled that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce is believed to have stemmed from an incident back in 2016 where the actor allegedly got so harsh on Maddox. The “Maleficent” actress was so mad at her ex-husband’s treatment on their son that it created a rift that led to the separation.
And most probably the article on Hollywood Life was referring to the improved relationship of Brad to his sons, since that plane incident. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are more civil these days and they promised to have a quieter and more amicable court battle for their divorce. Their court hearings are expected to start soon so their papers will also be finalized in no time.
