A lot of fans are looking forward to the return of their favorite anime in the second half of “Attack on Titan” Season 3. Based on recent details revealed, however, it would appear that at least two of the upcoming episodes will be intended to catch viewers up to the previous events. This would take up valuable screen time that could have been devoted to more new Titan action scenes.
As Comic Book recently reported, the second part of “Attack on Titan” Season 3 will total only 10 full episodes, thus bringing up the whole season’s episode count to 22. If this remained the case, fans would be confused since it was initially announced that the season would have 24 episodes. However, it would appear that two of the upcoming episodes are going to be recap segments.
Regardless of whether or not this is actually the case, though, “Attack on Titan” Season 3 part two will still feature epic scenes to satisfy fans. Among them is the excellent pitching practice by the Beast Titan that manga readers will likely already know was learned from an early age. This isn’t even mentioning the internal conflicts that will occur in the upcoming episodes.
Basically, the mission that the Survey Corp. set out to do will suffer a lot of deaths, including people who are close to Eren, Mikasa, and Levi. Viewers can likely already guess who is being referred to there, but the point is that those characters will have a tense moment in “Attack on Titan” Season 3. The reason for this being the single chance that they have to save at least one life.
As for when “Attack on Titan” Season 3 will officially be returning, April 28 is the current schedule for western audiences. However, it would seem that the anime will air on April 24 in Japan.
