As seen in the final moments of the previous episode, Retsu and Doyle accidentally bumped into each other while they were in an elevator at a shopping mall. Doyle invited Retsu for a drink at a bar, but he had ulterior motives. Using the sake he drank, Doyle tried to set Retsu on fire. However, the Chinese martial arts master knew this was a setup and he managed to hit Doyle in the left eye with a knife. All hell is about to broke loose in “Baki 2018” Episode 18.
If the show doesn’t deviate from the source manga, Retsu should drink a cup of sake and use the alcohol to set Doyle on fire at the start of “Baki 2018” Episode 18. However, he will put it out with a fire extinguisher as he prepares to fight Doyle with every weapon hidden in his clothing. While Doyle is still recovering from getting burned, Retsu is going to throw knives at the death row inmate
With knives sticking out all over his body, Doyle will leave the bar and he will even try to distract Retsu with the blood from his left eye. The move is gross, but it didn’t work. Instead, Retsu is furious as he uses a rope to bind Doyle.
Despite being overmatched, Doyle did throw an explosive at Retsu after he gets his back slashed with a sword. The inmate managed to disappear after the explosion and he will try to surprise Retsu with an attack. Unfortunately, that didn’t work and Doyle is finally down for the count as Retsu clobbers him with a wooden stick.
However, Retsu will not finish Doyle because Jack Hanma will interfere and inject him with a sedative. With Retsu out cold, Jack will tell Retsu he can go and recuperate because they are going to face each other in the future. That’s all for “Baki 2018” Episode 18. Fans can check out the action once the episode airs on Oct. 29.
