Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s 2018 was quite the ruckus after the former suffered his third relapse on his alcohol addiction. The ex-couple has also finalized their divorce last October, parting ways in good terms although they’re still co-parenting their kids.
And now that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are legally separated, both stars have started to forge their own path romantically, more so for the latter. The “Peppermint” actress is currently dating John Miller and she couldn’t be any happier, Hollywood Life claims.
An insider of the outlet said that the reason for Jennifer Garner’s glow is the fact that she isn’t dating someone from the entertainment industry anymore. “Jen is a really down to Earth girl who loves being an actress but doesn’t love the whole Hollywood thing. She’s a really normal girl and doesn’t necessarily like being famous, which is why she tries her best to keep her kids out of the spotlight and you don’t see her photographed with John much,” an insider supposedly told the publication. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is said to be quite affected by his ex-wife’s current status and is struggling to accept her relationship.
Star (via Gossip Cop) claims that the “Batman” actor is isolating himself again and his friends are apparently worried he’ll find solace in alcohol once more. However, this narrative is the polar opposite of what other publications are reporting. People published a piece recently saying that Ben Affleck is really supportive of Jennifer Garner’s new relationship as he wants to make everything easier for their three children.
It’s been stated time and again by the ex-couple that their kids are their main priority above everything else. As for Ben Affleck shutting his friends out, that’s also inaccurate given that the “Gone Girl” actor is looking to have recovered well from his relapse. Similar to Jennifer Garner, the “Good Will Hunting” star seems to be in a good place right now if these photos are anything to go by. Hopefully, the actor maintains his sobriety and continue to keep creating movies for the fans and the industry.
