Beth Chapman and her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman have been open about her continuing battle with cancer. And despite her most recent hospitalization a few weeks ago, they are geared to honor their family traditions in celebrating Christmas.

Beth has been sharing photos and messages of positivity to her fans in time for the holiday season. Beth also does not seem to let her current diagnosis affect the celebrations lined up in the coming weeks for their family.

Earlier this week, Beth posted a photo of her and Dog telling fans in the caption that one of their Christmas family traditions is bringing to kids to the theater and “Churchill’s for dinner.” The Chapman matriarch had also shared a photo of her, Dog, and her stepson Leland Chapman who celebrated his 42nd birthday earlier this month.

Beth Chapman was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017. The “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star pursued treatments and has reportedly seen positive results for a year until the cancer was diagnosed back last month. The family referred to this new challenge as “the battle of her life,” E! News reported.

Unfortunately, the Chapmans also confirmed that Beth’s chemotherapy this time around has a “50/50 chance” of working. On a good note, the Chapmans assured she is keeping a “very strong, very healthy and very active.” It is also the family’s priority to go back to normalcy since Beth came back from the hospital late last month for the sake of their kids.

The Chapmans’ lawyer, Andrew Brettler, told E! News last month that Beth had been hospitalized and went under the knife last Nov. 27. “[She] had surgery to remove a mass in her throat, which was determined to be cancerous. I understand that the situation is very serious. We are all concerned for her and the well-being of her family,” Bettler said.

The Chapmans further confirmed the news through a photo shared on Beth Chapman’s Instagram page. She is seen clinging on to Dog Chapman’s arm while on a hospital bed. Like her more recent online posts, Beth remained positive and told fans that it is “not the end of the road” for her.
