The previous episode of “Black Clover” saw Vanessa taking control of her power the Red Thread of Fate and has finally beaten her mother, The Witch Queen. This basically stopped Asta from chopping his friends to pieces at the orders of the queen, but it’s not over yet. Thanks to the main character who is always yelling getting his powers awakened, could he now be in danger of actually dying in “Black Clover” Episode 65?
There is a lot that can be said about Asta awakening his true powers but “Black Clover” Episode 65 is about to show that there are consequences to such things. For starters, the backlash to the forced activation will not be doing wonders for his body and he could suffer, as a result. The queen really did not take that into consideration when she did what she did.
As the preview clip below shows, Asta will be trapped in some kind of red orb with veins popping all around. This could represent his own mind where he is still battling the queen’s influence and his loss of control over his own power. “Black Clover” Episode 65 might even see the members of the Black Bulls going home without its loudest member.
This would certainly not be welcome news to those who have stayed behind and have come to really appreciate Asta’s presence. Then again, the show is a Shonen anime, so the chances of its main character suffering that kind of fate are close to zero. “Black Clover” Episode 65 will likely feature some form of “power of friendship” moment where Asta then bursts out of his prison.
In any case, “Black Clover” Episode 65 will be hitting the airwaves on Jan. 1, for anyone who might want to know what happens next. This should prove to be an interesting episode.
