“Black Clover” Episode 65 is expected to introduce a new arc for the anime adaptation as the two action-packed sequences provided to the fans in the last two releases ended the current story. The community highly praised the animation of these portrayals saying that Studio Pierrot did a remarkable job of fleshing out the scenes.
The success largely revolved around the fact that the episodes were handled by multiple animators. This allowed them to combined several art styles and mold them into one fluid sequences after another. Hopefully, the studio will make this a permanent element in the series. As for what will happen in “Black Clover” Episode 65, the Queen of Witches will provide some information to the coveted magic stones.
She’ll reveal that it’s, in fact, the very earrings she’s been wearing this whole time. These artifacts allow those who wield it to possess tremendous powers way beyond their capacity. This is also the reason why the Queen is such an elite magic caster. However, she’ll admit in “Black Clover” Episode 65 that it was the elves that have truly mastered the magic stones.
As such, the story will be moving forward into the conflict between humans and elves. In the manga, it’s been revealed that the elves once lived in the Clover Kingdom, specifically on the area called the Forsaken Region. At first, the humans feared and worshipped the elves but eventually grew to envy their powers. This led them to commit genocide towards their supposed gods. In an attempt to save the race, a character named Licht used forbidden magic to suspend the souls of the elves until such time that they wake up once more. It’s unclear, however, if all this information will be dumped on “Black Clover” Episode 65.
Whatever the case, the new arc will be unfolding in the next release when it airs on Jan. 8. This arc is one of the most exciting plotlines in the series and will feature several hair-raising moments for Asta and the Black Bulls.
