The app currently indicates that it will offer a simulrelease, which means chapter 40 will go live as soon as it is released in Japan on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The mobile app of Viz Media’s Shonen Jump will also release “Boruto” chapter 40 for free on Wednesday. However, this app only offers the last three chapters released and does not indicate if there will also be a simulrelease. Manga PLUS and Shonen Jump apps are available on Android and iOS.
