HOUSTON, Oct. 27, 2016 -- Cardtronics (Nasdaq:CATM) announced today it has entered into a new, long-term ATM services agreement with Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers in the United States. Cardtronics is the world’s largest retail ATM owner/operator.
The renewal agreement covers a footprint of approximately 730 stores located in 23 states across the country. Cardtronics ATMs are placed at Albertsons Companies banners including Safeway, Shaw’s, Jewel-Osco, Albertsons, ACME, Vons, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Star Market.
