OTTAWA, March 06, 2018 -- Corel announces that it has named Prasannaa Ganesan as Chief Operating Officer. Prasannaa joined Corel in 2010 as Director of Operations for WinZip and most recently held the title of Corel Executive Vice President of Operations.
Leading Corel’s business operations, product development, and expense management, Prasannaa is responsible for a number of functional areas including information technology, research and development, customer and technical support, release management, and manufacturing. His teams deliver an efficient and scalable foundation that enables departments across the company to achieve Corel's strategic goals.
Prasannaa plays a key role in supporting the success of Corel’s M&A activities from due diligence through post-acquisition integration. Respected for his strong sense of fiscal responsibility, he is credited with dramatically increasing profitability across all of Corel’s business groups.
Prior to Corel, Prasannaa served as the Program and Delivery Director at Versata and Trilogy. He pursued his Masters of Science in Electrical engineering from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, following a Bachelor of Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology, and Research Academy.
