In a few weeks, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019 is happening and a number of high-profile gaming-related announcements are likely happening. But as for fans anticipating the release of “Cyberpunk 2077” the common question is whether new teasers and a playable demo will be available.
First off, note that “Cyberpunk 2077” will definitely have a presence at E3 2019. Though it does not seem like CD Projekt Red is preparing for an on-stage presentation, it is confirmed that they will at least have a booth where attendees can watch trailers of the upcoming game.
As the countdown to E3 2019 winds down, CD Projekt Red's Global Community Lead Marcin Momot started answering related questions recently to manage fans’ expectations. First, he confirmed that there are different venues where they would show more gameplay teasers of “Cyberpunk 2077.”
There will be a public viewing most likely available at the company's booth. Then there will be another presentation at a more private setting where more gameplay details will possibly be presented. “Won't go into details now but these showings will be different,” Momot wrote on Twitter.
This is not a new strategy for CD Projekt Red. Last year, the video game company revealed the first trailer of “Cyberpunk 2077” where fans saw the first-ever look into the chaotic and futuristic Night City. But later in the convention, the developers also held a closed-door presentation where they revealed a more comprehensive gameplay walkthrough and distributed information about the main protagonist V and how the RPG would basically work.
“Cyberpunk 2077” was first announced in 2012, so many fans are wondering whether a playable demo will be available at the CD Projekt Red booth at E3 next month. Unfortunately, that will not be the case.
The developers will have a working gameplay presentation of “Cyberpunk 2077” just that it is not for public consumption yet. Momot said, “To answer many questions about the demo and whether or not @CyberpunkGame will be playable at E3 -- we are going to be hosting gameplay presentations (game played by us) in that cinema.”
Fans are still clueless on the release date window of “Cyberpunk 2077.” It also appears that a great deal of work has yet to be completed by the developers. On Thursday, the company confirmed in a blog post that they have hired more than 400 people in early 2019 to join the game’s development.
