'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 1 Episode 8 Recap: Night of the Hawk

A lot of things have been going on with our Legens on the hit TV series 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' and I am pretty sure that the fans are more than happy to welcome the stories with much enthusiasm especially with this week's episode where the team went into a different era to defeat a foe. So here is a recap of this week's episode titled "Night of the Hawk".

The title obviously has got something to do with this week's story. The episode circled around the team as they encounter both Savage and a flock of part-hawk, part-human mutants which took place in the 1958 version of Wayward Pines- Harmony Falls.

As they discover the whole place, the team decided to split up and find the culprit who has been slashing people up. ay and Kendra play dress-up and pose as a married couple to establish their roots and investigate one victim,  Stein and Sara quickly nab jobs at the mental institution to track another, Jax searches for three teenagers who disappeared, and Captain Cold and Rip dress like posh FBI agents to talk to the local sheriff.

But just like most plans become, everything got caught up. Ray and Kendra rubbed the citizend in the wrong up knwoing that they are interracial couples in an era where people offend you if you're not white. And what's even worse is the Savage that they were looking for is actually their neighbor and was a famous doctor in a mental institution that Sara and Stein are working at.

The couple were forced to play nice as they got invited by Savage, after which the pair head to the soirée, where Ray stalks off to roam the house while Kendra stays behind and, well, tries not to get murdered. Thankfully, Ray finds a locked metal door that must lead to Savage’s lair.

Jax, on the other hand, found one of the missing teenager's girlfriend and consoled her which led to a fight because of his race. The jocks find them, and as a fight breaks out, the mutant hawk-men show up and ruin the party, slashing both jocks and digging a deep gash in Betty’s neck. And it turned out that one of the missing kid, Tommy, is now a mutant hawk-man.
And as for JAx, he was seen being injected by Savage with the same fluid that turns them into mutants. Kendra was not able to stop him and even failed in her plan of killing Savage. By the time he meets with Kendra, he already knows his dagger’s been stolen, so he snatches it and pushes it against her throat — until Ray bursts in and blasts Savage out of the window.

Good thing Gideon and Stein figure out the exact gene therapy cocktail needed to revert all of the mutants back to normal.
