“Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2” players will be happy that “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” is happening. Two exciting playable characters have been added to the Extra Pack 4 DLC roster which is evidently a way to further promote the 20th-anniversary offering of the franchise’s movie series.
The “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2” Extra Pack 4 DLC is evidently tied to the release of the “Dragon Ball Super: Broly.” This means it will not be complete without adding Gogeta as the newest fighter in the game.
Fans of the franchise know that Gogeta is one of the strongest characters introduced in the entire franchise. As made obvious by his name, he is the result of Goku and Vegeta’s Fusion Dance. To top that, “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2” Extra Pack 4 is arriving, specifically with the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta form.
Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta is the latest content confirmed for “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2” Extra Pack 4 DLC through an announcement last week. SSGSS Gogeta’s addition was revealed just days after Bandai Namco unveiled the exclusive contents arriving this winter.
Super Saiyan Full Power Broly is included in the Extra Pack 4 DLC as well for obvious reasons. These two characters are anticipated to face in an epic battle in the upcoming “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” movie. Now, video game players can relive that action through playing “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2.”
“Players will be able to play as the film version of Broly, whose powers have been increased to match or even exceed that of Goku, allowing him to fight with pure battle instinct,” Bandai Namco added. The “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2” DLC will also come with an all-new Tournament of Power Arena where will regularly appear in the middle of a battle.
All official teasers about “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2” Extra Pack 4 only mention winter 2018 as the release date window. However, reports suggest that these contents might be going live before the movie premieres in Japan on Friday, Dec. 14.
