The tipster went on to say, “Ellen sat Portia down for a heart-heart and suggested they repledge their love by renewing their vows.” Portia was said to have agreed to the renewal of vows and they are now planning together. This time, it will be a wedding by the beach.

Gossip Cop wrote that this is a completely false report. In the first place, the source’s claim to have knowledge that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi had a heart-to-heart talk was impossible. The two are very private when it comes to their relationship so it is unlikely that this “source” was able to know something really intimate about the couple.
Also, Ellen and Portia did not have a tough year when it comes to their union. Even this year, when DeGeneres was severely bashed, Portia remained by her wife’s side and supported her all the way. In fact, when the host went back to work for the 18th season of her talk show, Portia was the happiest person thus the renewal of vows is also not true.
