After months of leaks and speculations, “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” is finally headed to PC. Shortly after its announcement, Square Enix released the full system requirements for the game.
The version coming to PC is the “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade” that includes the game’s standalone DLC billed as a standalone port for the game’s launch outside PlayStation. It will be released exclusively on Epic Games Store.
The minimum requirements to play the popular remake include Intel Core i5-3330 or AMD FX-8350 CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 780, or AMD Radeon RX 480 GPU, 3GB VRAM, and 8GB RAM. Square Enix recommends higher PC specs, though, so “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” can run at 2560 x 1440 to a maximum of 3840 x 2160 resolution. For this gaming experience, players will need Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU, GeForce GTX 1080 or Radeon RX 480 GPU, 12GB RAM, and 8GB VRAM.

Both settings require the PC to be running on 64-bit Windows 10 version 2004 or later, DirectX version 12 or later, and at least 100GB storage. With “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” launching on Epic, fans will also need an Epic Games Store account to purchase and play the game.
“Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade” is a bundle of the base game and the “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Episode INTERmission.” The latter is the game’s story DLC released on PS4 and PS5 last June. It features a standalone tale focused on the adventures of Yuffie after she arrived in Midgar. The DLC follows the Wutaian ninja as she fulfills her mission of infiltrating Midgar, where she ends up conspiring with the Alliance HQ to steal from the Shinra Electric Power Company.
Aside from the base game and Yuffie DLC, “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade” also comes with several in-game add-ons, including the Cacstar weapon playable exclusively in “INTERmission.” The port also features three armors (Midgar Bangle, Shinra Bangle, and Corneo Armlet), three summon materia (Carbuncle, Chocobo Chick, and Cactuar), and three accessories (Superstar Belt, Mako Crystal, and Seraphic Earrings).
PC players can redeem these items through the in-game Gift Box from the main menu. “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade” will be released on Epic Games Store on Thursday, Dec. 16.
