News about “Fuller House” Season 5 is still scarce at the moment as Netflix remains mum about whether or not they’re renewing the family-oriented sitcom. There’s also the fact that the streaming giant doesn’t publicize the exact viewership of any of its shows.
As such, it’s difficult to determine if a series is doing well or poorly. It’s being speculated at the moment that the reason for the delay of “Fuller House” Season 5 is Netflix poring over the rating performance of the sitcom, CaterMatt reported.
The site further contends that the announcement may arrive sometime during late January or early February. As for the plot of “Fuller House” Season 5, there’s still no news about it either. However, fans can speculate what will happen in future episodes judging by how the previous installment ended.
“Fuller House” Season 5 will definitely explore the new parental roles of Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). The classic no-sleep gag and the baby creating a mess in the household are just some of the possible avenues that writers can incorporate. There’s even the possibility of the baby being named Michelle, adding more jab at the Olsen twins who still refused to do a cameo for the sitcom.
Another storyline that “Fuller House” Season 5 will definitely expound upon is Jimmy and Stephanie’s relationship, Screenrant reported. Now that the two are engaged, it would be nice to see the pair walking down the aisle on the fifth installment. The same thing could happen for DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger) given their current status, as well as to Kimmy and Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace).
With the three pairs taking their respective relationships to the next level, “Fuller House” Season 5 could provide a satisfying ending by having a multiple wedding ceremony. As for the release date, Netflix hasn’t announced anything yet. But judging by how the streaming giant handled the previous releases, the most likely month that “Fuller House” Season 5 will return in December.
