It seems the tabloid media really wants a Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton nuptial based on just how many reports there have been of the supposed engagement of the couple. In the latest one, it was claimed that the country singer was finally going to propose to the No Doubt vocalist and give her an engagement ring for Christmas. As is the case with previous reports, however, this is complete nonsense.
In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the “Hollaback Girl” singer finally put the Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton rumors to rest that they were engaged. She said point blank that they were still boyfriend and girlfriend despite being together going on four years now. The singer also noted how shopping for a Christmas present for her beau has been something of a nightmare for her.
“It’s so hard! He has everything,” the singer lamented on the talk show. “I feel like we’re both sitting there going, ‘Promise me you’re not going to get me anything. Let’s just not get gifts this time.’”
With this being the case, it’s hardly likely that there is going to be a Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton engagement announcement courtesy of a Christmas gift engagement ring any time soon. It would appear that neither of the two really know when they are going to get married and they seem totally fine with that.
Instead of indulging in false reports about the Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton couple, however, fans can dive into the recent video of the two featuring a Christmas song. It’s a sweet number that the couple co-wrote and co-sang, which is quite the tribute to the holidays, indeed.
This is one of the cutest videos of couples ever and Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton fans agree. One only needs to look at the comment section of the clip to see this for themselves.
