Yet another pregnancy rumor has included Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton into its narrative, claiming that the couple is expecting a baby girl. The gender-reveal supposedly happened at the songstress’ home in Los Angeles where the pair invited friends and family for the announcement, OK magazine (via Gossip Cop) reported.
“Everyone was hugging and crying and congratulating them. Blake [Shelton] even made an emotional speech. He talked about how he cried tears of joy when he found out he was going to be a dad,” an unnamed source told the outlet. What’s more, the insider purports that Shelton and Gwen Stefani also broke the news to their respective exes.
Of course, given that the tabloid is known for spinning fabricated stories, it’s best to not take their word seriously. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton haven’t announced anything, and reputable publications aren’t pushing this narrative forward.
What’s more, there is zero indication that the “Hollaback Girl” singer is pregnant judging by recent photos that surfaced on the web. What’s true about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton is that they’re still going strong after dating for three years. False stories are a constant nuisance for the couple, ranging from pregnancy claims to wedding rumors – all of which have been disproven time and again.
Among the glaring holes in the magazine’s latest claim is that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton contacted their exes to announce the pregnancy. Those who have been closely monitoring the couple’s story know all too well that they parted ways with their former flame in a relatively sour separation.
While Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert seem to have separated in good terms, there are whispers circulating in the industry that infidelity was the main culprit for the breakup. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, on the other hand, separated due to the former getting caught having an affair with another woman.
As this is the case, it’s unlikely that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went out of their way to inform their exes of the supposed news. This is especially true since the nature of the claim is too personal to involve people who have a rocky history with the couple.
