HVR’s Real-Time Data Integration Solution Enables Effective Digitization Amid Complex, Hybrid Data Environments
SAN FRANCISCO, March 01, 2018 -- HVR, provider of real-time data integration technology, today announced that GE Digital has selected HVR as its real-time data integration solution for Brilliant Manufacturing, a Manufacturing Execution and Performance Management solution. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement allows users of Brilliant Manufacturing to more efficiently leverage real-time data in the cloud to make more intelligent business decisions, faster.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution — the blurring of lines between digital technologies and physical assets — is the next frontier for manufacturing companies. Brilliant Manufacturing enables traditional factories to evolve into digitally enabled intelligent manufacturing plants by providing the infrastructure necessary to support faster production, vary product output at a moment’s notice, lower power consumption, and eliminate waste, while improving throughput and efficiency. HVR allows Brilliant Manufacturing customers to:
- More easily extract their data from on-premise environments and migrate it to, and leverage the analytical capabilities of the cloud; and,
- Access and react to that data in real-time in order to manage costs and decision-making processes, unlocking greater efficiencies at scale.
The partnership will deliver real-time information upstream and downstream, regardless of data systems, to Brilliant Manufacturing customers around the world. With HVR enabling the data integration and migration processes, Brilliant Manufacturing will enable customers to run real-time analytics in the cloud in order to drive cost efficiencies, enable better decision making, and deliver more consistent operations.
“GE Digital’s Brilliant Manufacturing is a proven, scalable, and high-performing data integration technology that is improving the way industrial companies approach business optimization,” said Anthony Brooks-Williams, CEO of HVR. “HVR’s agreement with GE Digital truly unlocks the transformative power of today’s modern data environments on a large scale. This agreement signifies their dedication to enabling customers to be more efficient in their industries with access to real-time information in the cloud.”
“GE Digital’s agreement with HVR shows that the cloud is now front and center in many organizations’ data management blueprints,” said Mark Van de Wiel, CTO, HVR. “The cloud enables organizations to be much more flexible in their choice of technologies as they build infrastructures and real-time analytics systems, and it’s clear many organizations feel Brilliant Manufacturing is the right technology for their factories. This agreement is another proof point for HVR’s success in enabling the consumption of real-time data as a service, the future of the digital era.”
