ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 29, 2017 -- Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (NYSE MKT:HEB), focused on pharmaceutical research, today announced, that it will be presenting at the Biotech Showcase™ 2018. The conference will be held January 8-10, 2018 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. Chief Executive Officer, Thomas K. Equels, M.S. J.D., will give the presentation and meet with investors.

Hemispherx has two flagship products: Alferon N Injection® and the experimental therapeutic Ampligen®. The Company also has six orphan drug designations with four in the U.S. and two in the European Union.
