Jamie Dornan may have found his twin brother after a paper published an article that featured the big similarities between the “Fifty Shades” star and a member of the Swedish Royal family. Yes, Dakota Johnson’s leading man is a look-a-like of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and fans are going crazy with their resemblance.
The Evening Standard wrote about Jamie Dornan and Prince Carl Philip’s similarity in terms of looks and fans could not agree more. The report made it to social media earlier this week and both men were praised for their good looks.
Prince Carl Philip is the son of Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. At 39, he is only three years older than Jamie Dornan so their similarities in look are even more pronounced with the close age gap. In fact, many are in awe after seeing their photos side by side.
It was learned that Prince Carl Philip finally opens his Instagram account and it became a channel where his fans and followers of the Royals can get a glimpse of his “normal” life. With many photos available, people have more images to use when comparing Jamie Dornan and the Swedish Prince. The Evening Star called Dakota Johnson’s “Fifty Shades” co-star as the “princely” Hollywood actor.
Seeing the side by side photo of Jamie Dornan and Prince Carl Philip, one Twitter user said, "How is it possible that I have not known about Prince Carl Philip of Sweden? He's like a royal Jamie Dornan."
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson is currently filming “The Friend” in Fairhope, Alabama. She is starring in the movie alongside Casey Affleck and Jason Segel. Deadline reported that “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie and Cherry Jones have been recruited to join the cast.
“The Friend” is Dakota Johnson’s new project and Jamie Dornan will be featuring in the “Trolls World Tour” animated flick. Starring in the animation is part of the latter’s plan in shedding his “Fifty Shades” Christian Grey persona.
