“Jane the Virgin” season 5 is coming really soon so fans should brace for it. It has been almost 10 months since the fourth installment wrapped up so it is understandable why fans could not wait for the next episodes to arrive.
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 was also confirmed to be the series’ final run so it is expected to tie up all the loose ends and answer most of the questions that the viewers would like to know like, who is the narrator? How come Jane’s husband Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) showed up alive?
With her husband, who was thought to be dead, suddenly surfacing after a long time, “Jane the Virgin” season 5 will also reveal how Jane (Gina Rodriguez) will deal with the unexpected conflict since she is already falling in love with someone else. Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) is the new love in her life since Michael was presumed to have died in season 3.
Finale’s Plot
After meeting Rafael, Jane just started to move on and heal her heartache following Michael’s death. And as she and her new beau is about to get engaged, her “dead” husband showed up in her apartment. How will she feel?
Of course, she was flabbergasted and badly needs an explanation. She loved him but she was also angry because how could he do this to her. “Jane the Virgin” season 5 will definitely show her reaction to this bizarre situation.
Now, since there are two men in her life now, a love triangle will ensue and this was confirmed by Gina Rodriguez. Speaking with Huffington Post, the actress said, “I am preparing to direct my first episode and I can tell you that it starts and ends the same way: the love triangle with Jane being shared, and to choose its path as it always has done.”
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman also shared some spoilers and said that the new installment will highlight Jane and Rafael’s relationship but it will eventually turned shaky because Jane is now unsure since Michael is back.
The showrunner further revealed an ultimate spoiler by revealing via Deadline that “Jane the Virgin” season 5 finale will conclude in a wedding. The question is, will be Michael or Rafael?
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 is set to premiere on March on CW Network.
