Jennifer Aniston is allegedly looking for a date and she is doing it boldly as she intends to bring him to the Oscars this year. It was reported that Brad Pitt’s ex-wife wants a man to accompany her to the awards ceremony as well as the after parties because she does not want to go alone.
According to Life & Style (via The Daily Mail), a source told them that Jennifer Aniston does not care if the man is another actor or a celebrity like her, she just wants to have someone before the Academy Awards takes place on Feb. 25. The actress allegedly prefers the hunky type to be by her side on the said glamorous night.
In the article that was titled “Jen’s Plea For A Plus-One,” it was said that Jennifer Aniston is desperate on finding a date as soon as possible because she fears having to walk the red carpet without a company. Moreover, in order to achieve her goal, the 50-year-old “Friends” star reportedly asked her pals like Jason Bateman, Courteney Cox, and Jimmy Kimmel to find her a date.
“Jen knows that whoever she chooses, the gossip will be relentless, but she’s OK with that,” the insider supposedly said. “Her reason is that if she goes alone, they will still talk so why not give them something to talk about?”
But then again, it appears that there is no truth in this story as Gossip Cop claims that Jennifer Aniston’s representative denied this when they asked for comments. What’s more, it is not even certain if the actress is attending the Oscars since she has not decided on it yet.
One thing is sure - Jennifer Aniston is not frantically looking for a date right now. Also, she did not ask her friends to play matchmakers so she can find someone who can be with her at the Oscars and its after parties. The whole claim is simply baseless.
