Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer 2018: Brad Pitt’s Ex Returning in the Arms of Katy Perry’s Former Flame?

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are allegedly giving their romance a second try as they allegedly went for drinks at the Beverly Hills Hotel. As OK! magazine (via Gossip Cop) would have it, the meet-up was quite the leap for the ex-couple as Mayer supposedly took the chance to confess to the actress that he has never stopped loving her.

However, given the past statements of John Mayer regarding Jennifer Aniston, it’s likely that the outlet’s story is nothing more than a fabrication. In a Rolling Stone interview given by the “Your Body is a Wonderland” singer, he said some pretty telling statements that indicates he doesn’t want to be with the “Friends” alum in the future.

“I’ve never really gotten over it,” John Mayer said on his breakup with Jennifer Aniston. “It was one of the worst times of my life… I have this weird feeling, a pride thing, for the people I’ve had relationships with. What would I be saying to Jen, who I think is f***ing fantastic, if I said to her, ‘I don’t dislike you. In fact, I like you extremely well. But I have to back out of this because it doesn’t arc over the horizon. This is not where I see myself for the rest of my life, this is not my ideal destiny.’”

While John Mayer released this statement eight years ago, it’s likely that some of the emotion attached to these words still cling to him to this very day. There’s also the narrative claiming that Jennifer Aniston can’t stand the “Gravity” singer.

And of course, there’s the reputation of OK! magazine to consider. This publication has a deep history of writing stories that are completely unfounded. And it’s highly likely that this latest story about John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston is nothing more than another lie that the outlet has produced.
