Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Divorce: ‘Elektra’ Actress Allegedly Caused Former Husband's Breakup With Lindsay Shookus

There are many things about the Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck situation that has been proven true. The writer, director, and actor is indeed receiving some treatment for his alcoholism. It is also true that his ex-wife drove him to the facility, herself. However, Jennifer Garner is not the reason for Ben Affleck’s breakup with Lindsay Shookus. They are also not back together, as a result.

The Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck rollercoaster just keeps on going, with the former couple struggling with multiple issues left and right. Aside from the custody issue that the celebrity pair has to contend with, there is also the alcoholism problem that the “Batman V Superman” star is struggling with. However, it is not true that Jennifer Garner forced her ex-husband to split with his girlfriend, Gossip Cop reports.

Once again, the culprit this time for spreading the Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck rumor is the well-known tabloid, the Globe. The publication reported that the actress instigated the split because of the SNL producer’s supposed insertion into their lives while the couple was trying to salvage their marriage. The report even claimed that Jennifer Garner was fine with Ben Affleck hooking up with the Playboy model, Shauna Sexton.

That last part alone should convince most Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck fans that this report is absolute nonsense and every other rumor stemming from it. This includes the one that claims the breakup has resulted in the former husband and wife to get back together. This is just not happening, Extra reports.

To reiterate, the Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck marriage is still in the process of getting dismantled. The Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus split also has nothing to do with Jennifer Garner. In fact, the breakup happened because of the fact that the actor has addiction problems and it does not go any further than that.
