Jessica Simpson 2018: 'Dukes of Hazard' Star Spent Millions Shopping for Baby Items? Overzealous Mama?

With Jessica Simpson being pregnant with a baby girl, it’s only natural that she would want to provide for her unborn child the best way she can. However, a recent report suggests that the actress has been spending a fortune on baby items and is out of control with her shopping habits. Considering how untrustworthy the source of this story is, however, it’s easy enough to conclude that it isn’t true.

The source of this new Jessica Simpson hoax, as was the case with many other celebrity hoaxes in the past, is the OK! magazine. The publication recently put out a report where the headline reads “Jessica Simpson's Pre-Baby Spending Spree Cost Her 'Several Million'.” The publication also cited a supposed source for the information that was in the report.

With the source being unnamed and the claims being uncorroborated, this particular Jessica Simpson story is already subject to suspicion. Nothing about it sounds right, especially with the source claiming that the actress “has set aside several million to build a new state-of-the-art nursery at her L.A. mansion.”

“Jess is going for an artsy, urban feel in the nursery with Lucite furniture and lots of cartoon artwork in black frames, plus wall decals,” the supposed source reportedly told the publication. “This baby will be pampered beyond belief, even by Hollywood standards.”

Suffice it to say, none of what this report suggests is even remotely close to being true. For starters, there were no details as to why Jessica Simpson might spend so much in a single room. There were no points of justification for it present in the report such as whether or not there was beefier security or a diamond-inlaid crib.

What’s more, the representatives of Jessica Simpson have since noted that the report was complete garbage. This is coming from the people who speak for the actress, so their word should be worth more than the tabloid publication’s.
