With Jessica Simpson being as pregnant as she is, it would only be natural that there would be some concerns over the safety of the baby. However, it would seem that some tabloid publications are taking this to another level by pretty much making stuff up. In fact, there is now a report that the actress has been putting her unborn child at risk by supposedly binge eating.
This new report was recently published by Star, Gossip Cop reports, and it contains some truly astonishing details that were almost all likely made up. The tabloid claims that Jessica Simpson has been eating in an uncontrollable manner and even cites a supposed source with knowledge on the matter. Suffice it to say, this source could not be identified, and their claim had no other corroborating factor.
“She’s so big that some guess she’s gained 100 pounds during this pregnancy. Jessica is extremely sensitive about the way she looks, and yet she refuses to fight her cravings. Overeating has always been a problem for her, but it gets especially bad when she’s pregnant,” the supposed insider reportedly told the publication.
Not content with this almost certainly made-up source, the publication also went on to quote a doctor who has never even met Jessica Simpson. The information is not exactly false, but the context in which it was provided is not becoming of a medical professional.
“Reckless binge eating could put her baby at risk for gestational diabetes and other health complications,” the publication quoted the doctor as saying.
Suffice it to say, this report is not true. An actual representative of Jessica Simpson responded to the article and said in no uncertain terms that it is false.
“She has not gained nearly the amount of weight they are suggesting. She is not unhealthy and begging for an early C-section. She is not spending thousands on takeout food. It’s all untrue,” the representative said.
