Since being rumored boyfriend and girlfriend a few years back, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are yet to publicly address reports about their relationship. However, they really have an adorable way to find the perfect gift for one another.
Most recently, it was confirmed that Foxx and Holmes had both consulted with Scenterprises CEO Sue Phillips to whip up the perfect concoction of perfume for one another. Phillips runs a store in New York City named The Scentarium that specializes in custom perfume and some of her most popular clients are Foxx and Holmes.
In an interview with Page Six, Phillips said, “Jamie came in on his own to actually create a fragrance for Katie.” It appears that Foxx — with the help of the perfume expert — got the perfect perfume blend for the actress.
It was so good that Holmes had also paid Phillips a visit to create a custom perfume for Foxx and her daughter Suri. “She came in and we had a nice, lovely, individual consultation, and then I said well let’s make something for Suri and for Jamie. So that was my gift for her,” Philipps revealed.
Foxx and Holmes have been rumored dating since 2013 — a year following her divorce from Tom Cruise. The two were spotted dancing on the same stage during a party that year which led to the first rumors that they have a connection. But the actor later dismissed the reports saying, “We simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
There were small rumblings about their real relationship status but nothing major happened until 2016 when Foxx reportedly traveled to Toronto where Holmes was filming “The Kennedys After Camelot” in the city at the time. The actress returns the favor the following year visiting Foxx in Paris while he was filming “Robinhood.”
Then, in September 2017, a photo showing Foxx and Holmes holding hands during a stroll at a Malibu beach was taken by fans as confirmation that they are an item. However, to this day, the two apparently avoids talking about their relationship in any of their interviews though they have been photographed together more frequently in recent months.
