During the recent episode of Last Man Standing, Kyle is settling into his new role in personnel but still feels out of place behind a desk. In an effort to help boost his confidence, Mandy gives her husband a makeover, which doesn’t go over well; he shows up to work the next day in a shirt and tie and short shorts. After Ed and Chuck tease him, a newly confident Kyle stands firm with Mandy and says he’ll be dressing himself from here on out.
When "Last Man Standing" Season 7 episode 3 airs on Fox in one week’s time, Mandy and Kyle’s future could be at the forefront. To be specific, Vanessa could end up projecting quite a bit herself when it comes to what is in store for the two! This is a story where there could be conversations about the next step really across the board, whether you are talking about relationships or what is going to happen with Outdoor Man down the line. We don’t think that Mike Baxter is going to start walking away from the series in the immediate future, but he needs to have these sort of conversations before hard times ever come around.
The "Last Man Standing" Season 7 episode 3 synopsis gives you a good sense as to what’s coming up next:
Under the threat of corporate takeover, Mike and Ed disagree on the direction of Outdoor Man’s future. Meanwhile, Vanessa is elated when she thinks Mandy and Kyle are trying to have a baby in the all-new “Giving Mike the Business” episode of "Last Man Standing" airing Friday, Oct. 12 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
A thing worth noting briefly here is that the October 19 episode, which was originally going to be about a foreign exchange student, will now be a celebration of Halloween instead. That is happening because of the World Series scheduling of "Last Man Standing" Season 7 presumably, according to TV Line.
