Fans are excited as “Lucifer” season 4’s premiere gets closer. The waiting is even more meaningful because FOX Network already canceled the show and was only saved by Netflix just in time.
Right after the save, the cast and crew immediately set out to work on “Lucifer” season 4 since they know that the fans are waiting for them. In fact, they played a big part in how the series was able to come back on broadcast.
At any rate, although “Lucifer” season 4 is moving to a new home, fans will be happy to know that most of the cast members are returning to reprise their roles. It is already confirmed that Tom Welling will not be part of the cast lineup anymore since his character in the drama has died already.
The rest of the series regulars like Lauren German (Detective Chloe Decker), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Mazikeen), Kevin Alejandro (Detective Dan Espinoza), DB Woodside (Amenadiel) and Rachael Harris (Dr. Linda Martin) are all appearing again on “Lucifer” season 4. The group will also welcome a new face and it was confirmed that Inbar Lavi will play Eve and Lucifer’s ex-lover.
For the plot, this is a bit complicated because Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) revealed his true self to Chloe Decker (Lauren German) so the upcoming “Lucifer” season 4 will show how she will react to this unspeakable discovery. Also, there will be a new woman to enter Lucifer’s life as Eve enters the picture. This is not good because her character was described as the new villain.
Everyone wants to know when “Lucifer” season 4 is arriving so some cast dropped hints about the possible premiere. For instance, Tom Ellis updated his social media account with this message: “Ok people asking in UK #Luciferseason 4 will premiere next year on @NetflixUK.”
He did not mention the exact date but this is enough to make fans excited. Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez) also used Twitter to drop a clue and her info may be better than Tom because she mentioned a month. “I have no idea but if I had to guess I’d say April or May,” she wrote not long ago.
