“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17 has been pushed back by CBS as the network prioritized the explosive scandal involving R. Kelly. The singer is currently facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving underage girls, Popculture reported.
To make matters worse for the R&B icon, new footage has been found and submitted to law enforcement where Kelly is supposedly seen having sexual intercourse with a minor. The new evidence is supposedly a separate incident to the allegations the “Ignition” singer is currently battling. But even though the news surrounding Kelly is reaching new heights, CBS will not be delaying “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17.
The upcoming release will be dealing with yet another mystery case, this time involving the disappearance of a man working inside a highly-secured seed vault. It seems that the case is complicated enough that Oversight (Tate Donovan) will be called in to help the Phoenix team. As such, the relationship of Angus (Lucas till) and his old man will be explored further in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17.
The father-son duo isn’t exactly seeing eye to eye at the moment due to Oversight electing to distance himself from Angus’ life for two decades. Since returning to his son’s life, the Phoenix operative has made an effort to earn back Angus’ trust. Another character expected to be expanded in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17 is Desi (Levy Tran).
Her addition to the team has been received with mix reviews and most of the fans are still unsure how they feel about Phoenix’s new combat specialist. In the trailer of “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17, Angus and Desi were seen engaging in a brief scuffle which ended on the former sprawled on the floor. As for the release date of the upcoming episode, CBS has slated it to air on March 15.
