Melania Trump recently tweeted about Black History Month, but she was lambasted on Twitter for it.
In the photos, the FLOTUS is standing beside her husband, Donald Trump, and she has a huge smile on her face. It is evident that the first couple’s body language is quite awkward because they didn’t hold hands or even touch.
“This is the most awkward family ever. I strongly believe they never really spend much time together before and this is forced interaction that they are truly bad at. Melania doesn’t even sleep on the same floor as Donald, and the kids are from another mother. Dysfunctional,” Twitter user @Nic_McBride_ said.
“Awkward? If you want to see awkward watch Donald and Melanie kissing. Or is it Melania?” Twitter user @GreenMan207 said.
“Great to have actual people in the White House who CARE about minority success,” one Twitter user wrote.
“What was the most poignant moment of the evening in your opinion? Or was your head purely drawing blanks like most days?” another person wrote.
“Damn, these are the best you could do?” one critic mocked the FLOTUS and the POTUS.
“You're wearing 5" heels and #DementedDonnie's wearing 3" heels. He's pitched way forward with a really fake smile and only a half-a***d thumbs up,” another critic tweeted.
Meanwhile, the FLOTUS was also criticized for what she wore during her recent trip to India. During the banquet hall, the first lady was photographed in a pink ensemble.
According to India Today, the first lady’s choice in the wardrobe during her final day in India was very different from her first two outfits the day before. The FLOTUS simply recycled the dress that was made for her by Carolina Herrera.
“The previous two outfits were reminiscent of the First Lady’s preference for tailored and structured ensembles. However, the third dress strayed far away from that and ended up looking like a strange tribute to the saree, which is a staple in Indian wardrobes,” the publication claimed.
