There are a lot of events coming up in “My Hero Academia” Season 4 that are worth getting excited about and proper, professional hero work is one of them. Midoriya will basically be learning from a pro by working directly under him and it is during the course of their duties that Mirio will meet a sad end. His dreams will be dashed away before they have even begun. [Major spoilers ahead].
For the most part, “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will be featuring one of the most dangerous villains the show has ever seen, with a truly terrifying Quirk. All-For-One might have been the embodiment of a classic antagonist trope, but Kai Chisaki will be much more of a threat. There’s no telling if even All Might could have won against him easily if they had faced each other.
In any case, through the events of “My Hero Academia” Season 4, Mirio will be put in a position where he will be asked to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save someone important. He will do so without hesitation and as a result, he will lose the thing that he values most; his Quirk. This is basically the biggest threat that the heroes will be facing in the upcoming season.
The prospect of losing one’s Quirk would be enough to make even the staunchest of heroes to hesitate in doing their duties and this is the main theme of “My Hero Academia” Season 4. Fortunately, there are still shining examples of self-sacrificing figures who will step in front of that danger and Mirio is one of them.
“My Hero Academia” Season 4 is expected to hit the small screen in October 2019. That is only ten months away until fans can see the full glory of Midoriya and his friends returning.
