The Paranormal Front Liberation War arc is ending and the final phase is on-going already. With that said, “My Hero Academia” chapter 290 will likely show the climax of the battle between the heroes and the villain led by Tomura Shigaraki.
Recap
In the previous “My Hero Academia” chapter 289 titled “Miss candid and Miss Shut-Away,” Ochaco Uraraka and Toga Himiko’s faceoff has ended. Toga practically lured Ochaco to come and face him and while they were in the midst of the fighting, they were able to talk as well.
Shigaraki has been advancing to attack Deku and the rest. Just then, All For One commanded the villain to retreat but he only responded by saying he is not his boss so he continued to approach the heroes and they fought.
The villain seems to have overpowered Bakugo, Endeavor and Midoriya but fortunately, Shoto showed up and was able to catch them before they are severely harmed since they were blown away. Shoto put them safely on the ground and went on to apply first aid.
Elsewhere, Ingenium told Shoto that Gigantomachia is very close so he asked him to bring the injured trio out of the battlefield but Deku wants to stay since Shigaraki is after him. Tenya Lida also arrived to help the heroes and saw how his friends were hurt by the furious Tomura.
Spoilers - what will happen next
The previous chapter ended with Gigantomachia arriving in Shigaraki’s location. At this point, the heroes are so shocked because the bad ones seem to have overpowered them once again.
“My Hero Academia” chapter 290 will finally show the moment that everyone is waiting for. The heroes and the villains will clash and the end of the battle will be the climax of the PLF war arc.
Shoto is expected to step up his game since most of the powerful heroes are injured including Endeavor. It is hard to predict which side will emerge victoriously but of course, everyone is rooting for the heroes. However, they have to defeat the most powerful villain who is now backed up with the untouchable Gigantomachia.
Release date
“My Hero Academia” chapter 290 will be released on Nov. 8, as per Otakukart. Raw scans are expected to arrive as early as Nov. 4 so more spoilers will be available by then.
