Pride (Scott Bakula) is definitely not having a good year since his life-and-death encounter with an assassin. “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10 will prove that the team leader cannot relax just yet with the kidnapping of Loretta (CCH Pounder) and his father, Cassius Pride (Stacy Keach).
CBS released the “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10 official synopsis and confirmed that it is fittingly titled “Tick Tock.” Time is of the essence in this upcoming series installment and if Pride cannot solve the ordeal in time, it might cost him the lives of his dad and the team’s ever-reliable medical examiner.
Pride’s morning jog in “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10 will be interrupted with unidentified men telling him about Cassius and Loretta’s kidnapping. But, obviously, the main goal here is to torture Pride.
Cassius and Loretta’s captors will require Pride to accomplish several “tasks,” which will not be surprising if it includes some illegal dealings. The veteran NCIS agent will have no choice but to comply if he wants to save them in “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10.

“NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10 will evidently offer a very personal case for Pride. His relationship with his father is far from being perfect since the latter spent a long time in jail. Meanwhile, Loretta has been with Pride for a very long time and their friendship is obviously greater than being just colleagues.
So far, the teasers have yet to reveal what the rest of the team’s level of participation is going to be. But CBS also released some preview photos of “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10 showing Pride will later join Loretta and Cassius where they are being held captive.
On the other hand, “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 10 is likely the show’s last new episode for 2018. CBS has announced in a press release that the show’s regular timeslot in the following week will be filled with a rebroadcast of an episode from 2017. “Tick Tock” will air on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
