It seems like most of the TV shows right now are more than ready for the upcoming love month. The hit TV series 'NCIS' on the other hand is not one of them because the upcoming episodes will circle around Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop, played by Emily Wickersham dealing with a heartbreak. Spoilers will be dished out here so enjoy!
The bad and terrible thing just happened to Bishop as she found out that her husband Jake, played by Jamie Bamber, is cheating on her with another woman. And with that big revelation, Bishop decided to divorce with him after a rocky holiday season.
It was known that they have built their relationship on a work environment where everything is convenient, but as what all relationships go through, problems are bound to come and theirs did not make it.
According to TV Guide, the actress was able to share some insight about her character's state of mind in the episode to come. She stated, "Divorce throws anyone for a loop, especially in these circumstances. This [the divorced with Jake] has really thrown a wrench into her whole thing ... It'll be hard for her. We'll see a bit of unraveling."
Fans will have to expect Bishop becoming more engrossed with work to alleviate the pain and take a little bit of time for herself and think about the relationship.
Find out more as "NCIS" episode 14, titled "Decompressed," is expected to air on CBS this Feb. 9.
