It would seem that the events in “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 11 will be something to remember with the entire team being at risk of getting sacked. The episode will basically feature an investigation getting canceled and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team turning in their badges as a result. What will happen to the show now?
The title for “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 11 will be “Toils and Trouble” and it would seem that there will be an emphasis on the “Trouble” part. This will be courtesy of Wynn Crawford (Mitch Pileggi) who is the current United States secretary of defense in the show. It would seem that he has issues with how the NCIS office is being run so he decides to take action.
Naturally, this spells trouble for the team, with special emphasis on McGee (Sean Murray) and Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). Is there some kind of government conspiracy in the works in “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 11? Is the secretary of defense involved in something shady?
“United States Secretary of Defense Wynn Crawford (Mitch Pileggi) shuts down Gibbs’ murder investigation and demands that Special Agents McGee and Torres be arrested for their actions in the case,” the synopsis for the show reads.
Considering just how these types of situations in TV shows go, viewers can expect that Crawford will have to reinstate Gibbs’ team eventually. Specialists are not exactly easy to find and as soon as he realizes that he is out of his depth, there will be a fair bit of groveling in the works. That is if “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 11 does not pull the rug right out from under the viewers and replace the team altogether.
This would certainly make for an interesting development in “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 11. It makes the Jan. 8 air date for the episode much more worth waiting for.
