NEWARK, Calif., Dec. 14, 2017 -- Neato Robotics, a leader in smart robots for the home, today announced the launch of Coverage Maps on the Botvac D3™ and D5™ Connected models. Previously only exclusive to the Botvac™ Connected, this functionality is now available across Neato’s entire Connected product line.
Botvac D3 and D5 Connected owners will now be able to access the cleaning summary screen, which displays their cleaning Coverage Maps and showcases their cleaning history and statistics. This data allows users to see where their robot has vacuumed, as well as, any obstacles that prevented the robot from completing a full cleaning cycle.
To access this new feature, current users of the Botvac D3 and D5 Connected robot vacuums need to download the latest Neato app version 2.1 and then install the update to the robot over-the-air. This new generation of the Neato app was launched at IFA 2017 and offers a modern user interface, additional alerts and an improved cleaning summary with Coverage Maps and statistics.
Neato’s entire Connected product line (Botvac D3™ Connected, Botvac D5™ Connected and Botvac™ Connected) now supports Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple watch, Neato Chatbot for Facebook and IFTTT.
Availability
The Botvac D3 Connected, Botvac D5 Connected and Botvac Connected robot vacuums are all available for purchase today. The Coverage Map update will be available over-the-air to install once you connect to your robot vacuum from the Neato app. For more information visit www.neatorobotics.com.
